Before you pay anyone, do this over a calm 24 hours: set a bucket on a pool step, fill it to match the pool's water level, mark both, and shut the pump off. If pool and bucket drop the same amount, that's evaporation — southwest Florida's sun is simply that thirsty. If the pool drops noticeably more than the bucket, you have a leak, and the size of the difference hints at how bad. Run it again with the pump on: losing more with the pump running points to the pressure-side plumbing; losing more with it off points to the shell or suction side.
